1st January 2014 is an exciting day for LEGO fans with many new models scheduled to be released.

One of the sets is the NASA Mars Science Laboratory Curiosity Rover 21104. It is released under the Cuusoo theme which is a platform for LEGO fans to submit their ideas and get voted by the public to be released into production.

Past Cuusoo sets include the DeLorean Time Machine 21103 and Minecraft The Forest 21102.

It’s a cool looking set and is a great model for adults. Space theme sets have always been popular with kids and now there’s a model for the grown ups.

The Rover is designed by an actual Curiosity Rover engineer and measures 3” (10cm) high, 5” (15cm) long and 4” (12cm) wide.

The first two production runs was sold out quickly at LEGO.com and is listed as sold out since January 2014.
