The latest in the string of Modular Buildings from LEGO is the Palace Cinema 10232. However, LEGO has stopped using the branding of Modular Buildings and has released this set under the Creator Expert theme.

The last set released under the Modular Buildings theme is the Town Hall 10224.

One of the first things you will notice about the Palace Cinema 10232 is that it’s a corner building. The only other Modular Buildings from LEGO that are also a corner building is the Grand Emporium 10211 and the very first in the series the Cafe Corner 10182.

The Palace Cinema 10232 is a nice two storey building with an oriental feel with the red sloping roof. Due to the corner building layout, there is a unique vertical signboard with the words Palace on both sides.

On the first storey is the entrance lobby with ticketing booth and a stairs to the second level. The upper floor consists of the screen, two rows of seats and the projector.

This set also comes with a black convertible presumably to fetch a movie starlet to the opening night of the movie. All that’s missing is the red carpet.

If you missed getting the Cafe Corner 10182 but bought the Grand Emporium 10211, the Palace Cinema is a must have set to provide a nice ending to your LEGO street.
