After releasing series 1 to 11 of the popular Collectible Minifigures, the LEGO group has changed the theme slightly for Series 12.
In the first few series, each series came with a total of 16 different minifigures. The minifigures came in various themes with characters from the past like roman soldiers, modern occupations like policeman to mythical creatures like cyclops.
With the coming release of the LEGO movie, they will be releasing Series 12 based on the characters in the movie.
